What you probably notice about the lateness of this page is that updates are going to become a bit more random than before. The problem is Herdshire is completely for fun and I have no intention of ever profiting off of it.... So that means I can't put aside a lot of time when I'm barely making enough cash to get by right now. I still love Herdshire however.

Why I don't intend on profiting off of Herdshire

@GabrielsThoughts: (I apologize for my late reply) but me saying I don't intend of profiting off of Herdshire isn't me saying I don't intend to, or don't think I can, profit off of comics. It's because Herdshire is a my little pony comic that I do not intend on profiting off of it. Hasbro has sounded very uncomfortable with big MLP fan-projects in the past such as animations and video games. I don't want to profit off of a project where the creators are uncomfortable with that.

If it makes you feel better, not everyone finds success in comics. I update at random intervals myself. However, that doesn't mean I'm not working on my craft. The craft of creating is a tricksy one, and there are more forms of art and notoriety than can be easily imagined.

Just because one hasn't been working on the drawing aspect, maintaining contact, and keeping to the shadows doesn't mean the creative process ends. Which is ironic, because some people would label you a karmic demon or emotional vampire if they could. Not to say that such things don't exist, but it is inappropriate to label a victim's coping mechanism as the source of a just world fallacy.

If you want an example of conflict poorly handled and never resolved there is MTV's Valemont. It is a whimsical, nightmare like, vampire story with ceaseless conflict and no withdrawal. Not to mention, things seemingly pop up out of left field with absolutely no transition.

Love the spider by the way. It's cute. However, I expect more of a reaction from a CD aviator.

Also, I think if you can profit off of your art you should do so. I haven't encountered many people that could do it successfully and maybe after you've finished the first story arch you should submit your art to IDW or something and herdshire could become your "Eerie Cuties."

I love it!

Really cool. Keep it up! :) The spider's adorable. Passion Punch's eyes are really pretty. Good job!
